THE ANATOMY OF TWO ROSES
In the face of the rose
To the right you will find
The maze through which runs
All human kind.
Then take a look to the left
Through the gentle Babies Breath.
Hidden in that rose
Is the shattered mask of death.
Look for the people
Who lived by the flesh.
One screamed behind the brow,
Another crawled beneath the lips
Yet another stands tall
As he writes on a scroll
‘Bout those who died for the thrills
Found in a fist filled with pills
THREE ROSES FADING
Three roses fading in a bouquet with Baby’s Breath.
It’s sad, so sad, for she cried herself to death.
