Six Months Sober by Christina Maria Kosch

Featured Poems SS 2019

Medusa’s slithering serpents
snicker in my ear
one coils around my spine
and spins my body with his
and strangles me
my eyes open abruptly
my body sticky
in a cold sweat
bed sheets are stretched
around my neck
