-The Cult Of Academia- by Gerard Caronna

Featured Poems SS 2019

A gray faceless man
All dressed in blue
Walking down the street
in rain boots
On a sunny afternoon
Steps into a puddle of personality
On his way through the crowd
Where he finds his individuality sprouting up from a cow patty
And with flies over head
The sunken eyed deceivers
Look down from their narrow tower
As another one of the herd
Rejects their rhetoric
And opens his mind to wander.
