A Dark Fairy Tale

She lived in a fairyland, the land of dreams,
Among crimson flowers and golden streams.

But the wicked monster of grief,
made the Joy wither leaf by leaf.

Then the bud of laughter shriveled on her lips,
the world went dark and there came a total eclipse.

 She stared at moonless sky,
 Where stars to darkness die.

Then a cold metallic burst of sin,
 Gave her strength within.

 She decided to take revenge,
Until her life reached to the end.

So when the world of fairies turned into dust,
She turned into a bloody beast, not to trust.

The Kingdom of Chaos

This poem has been published in Raven Cage Zine issue 36.

The Crescent moon tries to disguise
 Over starless lake of blue
 And agony glittering within
 Her deepening eyes
 With celestial hue.

 Owls hooting in madness,
 Crying over the dead sun
Drifting on a sea of sadness.
Since the end of the world has begun.

Chaos reigns over the ghastly hours
Glorifies his bride with a fanciful wreath.
Sacrifices faith over the shrine of flowers
While enthroning the queen of death.

    The world’s embraced
    By the dreary void,
The light of hope has been erased
  And happiness becomes destroyed.

 The moon’s vanished
 Dream has died
 Bliss is banished
 And love is crucified.
